Former Paramedic here. CUPE needs to pull all its medics off the job for this. That’s what unions should be doing right now. Fuck these Zionists.
Those councillors and council need to be reprimanded as well for openly supporting genocide.

Here is my email; Hello Steven, I recently read about you using your influence to result in the release of Katherine Grzejszczak from her professional duties as a paramedic based on her online comment:
“In the last two years, Israel has bombed Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and now Iran. They have been occupying Palestine for 75+ years. They are luring starving Palestinian children to their concentration camp food aid depots so they can snipe them dead,” “Any union or other organization that doesn’t fight this is choosing to stay silent during genocide.”
If you use social media in any way you will know that this action is out of step with the public’s opinions on the Zionist repression in Gaza.
Rather than waste tax dollars fighting the resulting union actions why not just apologize and reinstate her. Your undecided voters will appreciate that.
This is why I don’t write politicians, no fucking way I could be that level headed about this

100% agree as a Canadian medic. What world is this where we allow another country to dictate our laws and morality , while they commit genecide.
Filed a god damn grievance! Fuck that. Medics should be walking off the job regardless of the union as well. They all hold so much power and they don’t even realize. CUPE is always in the pocket of the employer in my experience being a member. It’s only wishful thinking that they’d stand up.
