I vote for whichever candidate will do the least harm and support the most progressive policies. Bipartisanship isn’t a thing in the US when both sides are of the same right-wing coin.
Are you implying that, in the course of world history, no country has ever -while being attacked or invaded, asked another country (or specifically the US) for help with military defense? Ever? Even if there has never been a case of non-“manufactured” consent, then I would still support coming to the aid when/if it ever did happen.

I agree Trump is evil. America is not. It is a nation, and because it is run by humans, it does nasty shit just like most others. I hate it, but demonizing a whole population is not helping.
The US Empire is the world’s largest and most brutal plunderer, exporting genocide and terrorism while siphoning off the wealth created by the global working classes. Trump as an individual is a symptom of that, not an outlier.

The individual people may be good, but the systems in place are not. Just like other countries. Exploitation, power grabs, authoritaianistic tendencies etc are a problem. Along with dehumanization and general short sightedness by so called leaders (political , business and religious). Things are coming to a head, and something has got to give.
