    So thats uh, about $4.65 trillion for the top 33 ish million people, averaging about $140,909 for each of them.

    And $0.35 trillion for the other 297 ish million people, averaging ~$118 for each of them.

    … but hey, what even is an incentive structure, anway?

    Burn down their money, or they’ll burn down the planet.

    Your entire 401k balance is what they call a ‘moderate monthly swing’ in percentage terms, of their own networth.

    And it will vanish almost entirely when this all breaks, all your work will have been for basically nothing, and they’ll come out on the other end as essentially demi gods, maybe mock thanking you for being the sucker they ripped off, if they’re feeling generous.
