Both Greens and NDP consistently support proportional representation, which is what really matters for strengthening our democracy.
Our FPTP system forces us into these false choices between parties that should be natural allies on issues like electoral reform. Under PR, we wouldn’t need to strategically abandon one progressive party for another - both would get representation proportional to their actual support.
The real problem isn’t which left party is polling better, but the broken winner-take-all system that makes us think this way in the first place.
