You must be very miserable to go Into every job you have that’s even min wage to think like this. Yeah it’s not a cakewalk but dooming and glooming at work is anti-social behavior and sure talking about it with co-workers is great and fine it’s good to have someone who gets you, but your also going to try to make the best out of your time at work. I’m by no means rich or Wealthy and quite the opposite but I enjoy my life still because I know that I’m alive and I get some sense of enjoyment from it.

  • i agree 100% and im not ignoring the other companies that do it, they are to blame just as much as others. EVERY company producing cars at every step should be paying their workers a fair wage and fair working environments. My point was that the cost of china EVs were really low, whats the calculus that brings their prices so low with accounting for their workers, and should we just be allowing more of the same (or worse idk) or do we do a made in Canada approach? I am of the mind that canada shouldn’t have a big manufacturing base for more simple parts, be we can do more complex work like a automotive factory or engine factory or however its laid out, and import the base materials from our EU partners.

on the topic of minimum wage jobs and not caring, it doesn’t matter what the wage is, you agreed to work the duties outlined to you. I’m not saying becoming a star employee and going above and beyond, but i mean if don’t like your job and decide to slack off, don’t be surprised if your fired or a customer complains about you.

  • Yes, i am aware security and privacy are different. I want privacy. A cellphone is not going to fix that, but i really have no choice in that matter because i do need access to a phoneline 24/7 due to having children(call from the school). Ideally i would be using a phone without stock android or no android at all, and running a mobile linux distro, and using a voip provider on WIFI only.
