We really won’t talk about those “velociraptors”? The annoying kid at the beginning of the movie was the only one to get their description surprisingly accurate when he said they looked like a 2m turkey.
I am not a velociraptor

There’s… so much you can mod in the game. And a lot of it is classified +18.

The community is being dumb and spoiled. They did this to themselves by publicly talking about the mod even on fucking shout ingame.
Mods are not allowed (we can argue about this but that’s not the point now) so everyone using mods knows (or should know) that talking about mods ingame and in public places like the fucking Square Enix forums is not a thing you should be doing.
And what did they do? All of it. So many times that in events they were even flooding the ingame chats about the mods.
You dumb assholes brought this to yourselves by breaking the TOS and talking about it freely.

Fact is, in my company, higher ups have more screens than me. Like phone, desktop, couple monitors and huge wall monitor.

I feel wrong.
I have an iPhone, and a laptop and 2 screens.

So… to fight against predators you… partner with the FBI to… stop people who make groups to… prevent predatory behaviour?

And yet, you still haven’t answered my question: what gives you a 900€ phone in terms of security that a cheaper phone with grapheneOS or a cheaper iphone won’t give you? But keep going with your “i’m the expert” attitude, you are really, REALLY educating me

So many words to not answer even one of my questions, “expert”.

If they ditch windows, their products can cost less without reducing profits, selling more units because of reduced price.
There is no reason for them to go with windows instead of linux if in neither case they are profitting from the OS.

So, instead of paying to license widows in your device, pay to support a system that ditches windows so you can stop relying on it and reduce costs of your products?

Tell me you know don’t jack about linux without telling me you don’t know jack about linux in 25 words or less.

Ok, let’s say those ratings are not good. And let’s say that you can only trust iPhone as “paradigm of safety” (lol).
Tell me, does your kid need the latest phone to play their games? Are you telling me that an iPhone 14 or even 13 won’t do?
What’s a feature that only the latest iphone has and doesn’t have an older model?
Exactly, what are your kids doing that need of the highest tier phone to guarantee the highest level of security? Are they potential targets to israel spyware?
PS: stop it with the patronizing tone acting as if you knew best.

First of all: it’s not the price to make a phone safer. I’d argue that grapheneOS is safer than any android commercial rom. And it’s available for cheap phones.
Also: what game does need a flagship phone to run that should be played by a kid? COD? PUBG? I’m not sure a kid should be playing those. But hey, I guess pegi ratings are a lie…
And, again, even if they wanted to play those games, you don’t need a flagship phone for them. Cheaper phones will do.
The fact that you think I don’t consider kids actual people because I don’t think they (or most people in general) need the last flagship phone shows how disconnected from reality you are.

So answer me: what’s a feature that a kid needs and you won’t find in a cheaper phone?

I mean… bazzite? ChimeraOS? You don’t need to go to steamOS to find a free linux distro that works well with games. Hell, you could even customize one based on any of those so you don’t have to pay for a windows license for your products.

If you think that giving a kid a 900€ phone when there’s a much cheaper alternative that does the same is/should be the norm, you are part of a problem called consumerism.
What’s a valid reason to buy an expensive phone to a kid when a much cheaper alternative can do the same?

I’m not sure I follow. I have strange opinions about kids because I don’t think you should give a kid a 900€ phone/handheld when alternatives under 200€ exist?
I’m glad you can (and want to) buy a 900€ device for each of your 3 children, but I’m not sure how connected to the reality you are if you think that’s the norm.

I’m not sure most parents would be buying a handheld pc as a present for their kids. That’s a very expensive present to give a kid that could smash it on the ground or forget somewhere easily.

If only there was something to be done to slash the price while not losing anything important like using an OS that is FREE… But alas, there’s no such thing, I guess we’ll have to stick with windows, adding the license price to a hardware that is already expensive…
I feel like there stuff unsaid here that should be considered.
For example: those 82% of the cases with a “rebound” were all people who, for some justified reason couldn’t change their life style to a healthier one?
This, I feel, is important. Because I understand if you have a condition that doesn’t let you do sport or eat a variety of food, or have hormonal imbalances or otherwise a condition that makes you involuntarily gain weight. In this case, the rebound is logical and expected as the drug doesn’t cure your symptoms, just helps you fight the results of them.
But if you are just eating 5 burgers at lunch then hoping for the drug to help you and when you stop with the drug you keep your 5 burgers for lunch, of course you are going to see a rebound, but that’s on you, not on the drug.
EDIT: I finished reading the article. They did mention that those people kept a reduced calorie diet. So as I was saying in my second paragraph, the issue here is that the drug doesn’t cure but just helps fighting the results of an underlying issue.
