Like who?

Why is it a zero sum game instead of raising taxes on the rich?

Citation needed for the lawsuit. “Exploring” doesn’t count.

You don’t think Ticketmaster, who has the ticket never leave their ecosystem, can’t enforce this well enough?
Like off market sales are gonna happen noatter what you do. But we could at least curtail platform sales …
Between that and limiting the number of tickets you can buy would knee cap scalpers IMO.

Like sure, I’m not saying a better system doesn’t exist.
I’m saying just going “print the name on the ticket” isn’t the easy grab.
I didn’t see a problem with the law limiting resale tickets to 150% of the face value. That seemed fine, but Ford repealed that law…

You missed the point of nit being able to say “hey I can’t go to the concert, I’ll give my ticket to someone else”

Sure, but still means your banning you ever giving your ticket to someone else is what I’m getting at.
Like if you can’t go, you just have to eat the cost of the ticket.

Because the idea isn’t to ban resale at all, that means you couldn’t buy a ticket for your friend.
Its gotta be more targeted than that.

Can I ask what pendulum? Because Quebec has been doing this for decades.

Right up until the not withstanding clause is invoked…

Electricity is only so profitable. And if it was so easy to spin up power to meet their demand, but clearly that didn’t happen, and is effecting residents.

Why? What value does Bitcoin mining bring to BC?
Its funny how colonizers assumed “land back” means “treat us the way we treated you” and not “return care, stewardship, and independence back to the indigenous members”.

Like yes,
But my MP, or any number of MPs aren’t responsible for the day to day operations is my point…
I ultimately agree with you that Canada Post shouldn’t be a business.
But for everyone saying it is, then the business leaders are responsible for its failure. Which to me means it should be under MORR control of the federal government.

Who would you propose? Do you think Mark Carney is sitting there and makes every day decision s at Canada Post?

First off, Canada Post is a service not a busisnes. Do we expect direct profits from the trans Canada highway?
Also, bill C58 still isn’t the topic at hand.

Nice whataboutism…
Says nothing about what’s actually tabled here…

No, it’s not ethical.
It’s unacceptable to do that to humans in a ‘modern Western’s’ clinical ethics setting.
I agrue it’s still unethical to do to animals…
“hard boss” is not the same as “iron fist”.
Again, he’s a conservative in liberal clothing. I have no love for him. I think there’s far more dangerous actions he is (National works without indigenous consults) and isn’t taking on important issues (freeing Canadian captives in Israel). Those being just two examples I have off the top of my head.
Even “iron fist” isnt really much when we really should be focusing on bigger problems.
My point is when we get into a “I think he’s a bad person because he’s a hard boss” isn’t really saying anything on his politics. Sure it’s an indication, but who are you going to talk to and say he’s a hard boss and have them think you anything else as whiny? (That’s how it comes across).
I don’t read French unfortunately and I refuse to use AI.
doug Ford is a universal ass
And a private company CEO?
I was looking for federal politicians that’s promised to learn French, since that’s what the NDP are.
I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, but I can’t remember any on the national stage. But I’d be the last to remember, hence me asking.
