I would assume they have two monitors connected and when the tearing occurs on the problem monitor, their second monitor flickers.

This is going to get so much worse with passkeys becoming more common…
I believe that’s the joke, but I’m glad someone explained this for those that don’t know.
Origin. Doesn’t solve it for everyone else though.

I sort of expected this, but it’s a shame my vote is essentially dirt since I live in a district that never flips.
Trees, removing excess lane space, avoiding long straight stretches (ideally with street layout, but also chicanes), etcetera. If a road feels like a residential road, people treat it like one. And vice versa, if a road feels like a highway…

No no, ffmpeg is completely different! It refers to two women pegging a man.

This letter has to be one of the greatest rage-bait posts ever. Trump really know how to do it.
the United States of America has agreed to continue working with Canada, despite Canada having financially retaliated against the United States
Barely and only after he swung the first blow and started shit over nothing, yeah.
the United States imposed Tariffs on Canada to deal with our National Fentanyl crisis, which is caused, in part, by Canada’s failure to stop the drugs from pouring into our Country.
“In part” meaning less than a single percent. “Failure to stop” meaning a massive increase in border presence and fentanyl seizures.
Instead of working with the United States
See above, we implemented border security measures to appease the charade of Fentanyl being an issue.
there will be no Tariff if Canada, or companies within your Country, decide to build or manufacture product within the United States
Perfect! Let’s just make ourselves the States’ little bitch, completely reliant on them for everything and with no details on how much production we even have to move over so that he can just say we didn’t fulfill our part of the bargain whenever he wants. Why wouldn’t we do that? Jesus H Christ.
Canada charges extraordinary Tariffs to our Dairy Farmers — up to 400%
Two things, 1. tariffs to protect your local agriculture makes sense to not become reliant on other countries for food. 2. that “up to” is doing HEAVY lifting as those high rates are almost never in effect¹, so why do you even care. Oh right, you don’t care! This is all a sham.

on most of my systems I get tired of constantly lsing after a cd so I combine them:
cd(){
cd $1 && ls
}
(excuse if this doesn’t work, I am writing this from memory)
I also wrote a function to access docker commands quicker on my Truenas system. If passed nothing, it enters the docker jailmaker system, else it passes the command to docker running inside the system.
docker () {
if [[ "$1" == "" ]]; then
jlmkr shell docker
return
else
sudo systemd-run --pipe --machine docker docker "$@"
return
fi
}
I have a few similar shortcuts for programs inside jailmaker and long directories that I got sick of typing out.

No need for an opinion tag if you’re spitting straight facts

I’m sure they’d be happy to let me stay longer as long as I’m rotting in a prison while providing slave labour

If I was paying $1300 for a motherboard, I definitely would not be getting the Intel version this generation.

I could swear my local EB never changed, but maybe I just auto corrected the sign in my brain lol.

I can understand logistical difficulties and delays, but if you give people a day and hours to vote you absolutely have to give your best to meet those hours. Fly people out to the area and stay until the job is done. Leaving early as mentioned here is shameful:
When word spread that the voting station was closing at 2.30 p.m., she and others rushed to the polling booth, but she was too late.
“I could hear their airplane starting in the background,” she said. "Today, I lost my legal right to vote.
And I don’t even know what to say about not setting up at all, if true:
In Ivujivik, Mayor Adamie Kalingo said Elections Canada staff didn’t even set up a station in his community before they left.
…
They eventually did around midday, but after a toilet stop, they took off again.
Having advanced days and mail-in voting is all well and good, but you can’t tell people that X day is election day and then have no method for them to vote.

I really hope that’s what this is doing, but honestly I can’t tell at this point. Some people are so disconnected from reality they either don’t see this news, don’t care, or maybe even like it. I have a coworker that called Trump’s clown parade of a government “strong” and just yesterday commented on the voter turnout that “I guess people are really fed up with the liberals”.

I like to go during Advance voting so that I can stop thinking about it, and if I forget to do it early I still have a few days leeway.
Paywall article 🤮

Came here to say something similar because it’s important to recognise that this likely is not out of the kindness of their hearts. But I don’t think there’s any reason to talk down potential allies either.
Tough to boycott the lowest-price option in my area. :/
