I will say the dismissiveness to an outside viewer can come across very poorly as well. I agree with your stance overall though, if nothing else it gets frustrating to argue with bad-faith or closed-minded people and can be liberating to tell them off, outside viewers would then just likely fall along the side they already had tho.

You trying to print screenshots of your game or what lmao

I feel like this might come down to more people building their own towers vs buying them outright, whereas those who wouldn’t be inclined to build their own PC are instead defaulting to laptops.
I’d be curious what it looked like during Covid, because a lot of non-PC gamers I knew all of a sudden were interested in building their own rigs.

Distrobox is more like running an entire other Linux distro to run your program, so like before my laptop died completely I had Bazzite and needed to install something locally that was way easier to do in an Ubuntu Distrobox, any time I wanted to run that program I open up my distrobox and run it, felt very native and the app and its files were still in my normal home directory yet ran with dependencies and such I had in the distrobox only.
Definitely nifty but different from the goal of podman/docker imo

What do you think happens already lmao
As a man who generally doesn’t sing or dance, sorry and good luck lol

I don’t think it’s in any way limited to the EU lol

Its a leap to say “nvidia AI support on Linux is bad” when you mean a very particular set of circumstances (which don’t apply to someone who would just be getting into it as they’re using consumer grade hardware) causes issues.
I have a 3080ti and run 8b - 12b all in VRAM just fine, which is what a majority of people getting into it would be doing as well, again to my point about pulling an 18 wheeler trailer with a horse, you’ve got worse problems then nvidia on Linux (if you’re trying to run a 70b model on consumer hardware).

No shit lmao, are you going to tell me a horse can’t pull an 18 wheeler trailer next?

Disagree on Linux nvidia support, it works fine

Lenovo is generally cheaper then Asus, but they both have high end brands for gaming, Legion vs ROG
The cpu is below min specs but not by a crazy amount performance-wise, maybe “demo” it before you buy, not many people using that cpu these days.
I used to have one though too :) broke several pins on it and I decided to upgrade to Ryzen lol

My wife loves the Sims and Rimworld, but mostly the simulation and building aspects, you can tone the difficulty down, every run doesn’t have to be extreme randy lol

My wife played a little and one of the coolest features was the ability to “design” a pattern on clothes by just typing what you want in and having it generate it.

Its fun with friends, very silly and potentially infuriating at times but that’s part of the fun lol
They had real all metal beyblades

Mullvad is more private but Proton VPN still supports port forwarding.
They’ve always done that afaik?
I don’t think this will lead to any additional exploitation as that’s already the general business model.
