Surprisingly I did actually read the article, I was just wondering why would anyone pick a name that would be abbreviated (everything can be verb’d right?) to UNDRIP. I’ve found LibreOffice has better compatibility with desktop Office app formats than the office365 online bs. Especially LibreOffice Writer is so much better and accurate than the Office365 Word.
Yeah any household below 100k a year is still working poor. At least in Ontario 200k+ is about the lowest where you can feasible get a mortgage and eventually own your house. I don’t know how different it is elsewhere in Canada though, Ontario is definitely one of the more expensive provinces to live in.
My question was not what is UNDRIP, it was why UNDRIP.
To be fair most indigenous people probably do not care too much about abbreviations, they likely have more pressing problems in their life :/
And to be clear, anything that recognized the shit indigenous poeple have gone through and is at least attempting to make a net positive for them is good.
Silly abbrevation is still silly though.
