Went to tech elevator boot camp, was a decent experience even if I don’t find myself doing exactly what I was expecting to do. Life is that way though.

Anyways, my first week I fucked some git stuff up so bad I became the go to guy when anyone had any git issues because I had to learn so much to undo my egregious error. I don’t remember now exactly what it was but it took some serious git magic to sort.

Just saying that point 1 is very true. And yeah don’t make mistakes in git.

Hey, we elected Trump, I also think the average American blows hard. But I was born here and live here and can’t just up and leave in my current circumstances so I just try to do my best to get by.

It’s a trying time right now around the world and we’re not making it easier for the average person.

Sucks for glasses wearers who are about to be having a lot of blurry conversations when everyone starts to tell everyone to take off their glasses before they talk.

It definitely does feel like human life is not valued as much as it should be, can certainly agree there.

Especially here in the USA I get the feeling that we’re all just widgets in the grand machination of Capitalism destroying our world. I wish there was more we all could do but the people in power who could help seem intent to burn it all down at this point.

I definitely have a problem with that.

Damn as an American whose frame of reference is, “if someone breaks into my home in the middle of the night and I shoot them dead it’s likely going to be called justifiable - period” it’s wild to see this.

Like, I’m not saying it’s good that we basically have a mentality of “yo if someone comes into your house you can blast em” as a people … But it’s interesting how divergent the views are.

Probably a similar reason as to why we don’t hear about the other potential hundreds of competing products or solutions to the same problem (in general).

What makes you think suspending an election is going to tip the scales?

Mostly that at least right now there’s hope for midterms to change things in Congress and then the presidential election to get Trump out. Right now we still have the trappings of a Republic. I think if elections got suspended all belief in a peaceful solution will be erased and people will react.

You have a point though, bread and circuses go a long way towards kowtowing the population. That and the risk of death at the hands of the state. I don’t know where the line is that people will readily accept potentially getting shot especially if they’re in white man suburbia.

It’s our Republic and I think while what is happening now is despicable it won’t push enough people. Suspending elections. … That will rouse the nation.

The ones I’ve been in are worse than literally entry level Toyota or Ford or Hyundai etc when it comes to build quality and interior so you’re not missing anything.

I would never buy one. I know that much.
