Exactly this, unfortunately we have a company policy from the group which says we must use Ubuntu Server as a server OS… 😬

NixOS is great, but has a steep learning curve which doesn’t make it suitable for such a project imo

Finally someone who understands! Haven’t found anything better. Just missing the bridging bit, though that comprises the privacy/security and overall personal opinion why I started using SimpleX.

UI-wise it isn’t there yet, but actively being developed so. I miss posting photos (combined) with a comment, now they are all sent separately.

Anyhow if you are looking for privacy go for SimpleX!

Mate just my 2 cents ignore overlords and enjoy using other stuff and getting a more global knowledge. Didn’t know the situation was getting this bad, let me guess: they know every single thing that has been posted on tiktok, but nothing else?
