I’d say it’s as much about being able to sell parts, which is why Honda has historically topped the list - their parts work on most of their cars.
IIRC, Honda got pushed down only because Kia Hyundai had such an easy to steal car, so kids started stealing them for the hell of it.


Yea, Win 3.1 didn’t support long names - that came with Win95. Win 3.1 was a shell on DOS.
But I understand - it all blends together after um… 40 years (ouch!).

A few years agoI started dropping a ~10" tree for my parents. They had an axe, so I said “ok, whatever, it’s good exercise”.
Thirty minutes later I was driving to a friend’s house to borrow a 12" chainsaw… Which was all he had.
That must’ve been the world’s dullest axe.
