Bullshit, because using stupid chainsaw was games main loop mechanic to even get ammo…

For me the forced mechanics of glory kills, chainsaw and flamethrower put me off in Eternal. Instead of managing ammo by collecting it and smart use you were forced to do above mechanics and they felt, well, super forced and stupid.
Doom 2016 gave you option, collect normal way or use chainsaw. I never used chainsaw through entire game for it and always had enough ammo. I played it on Nightmare iirc.
From what I was told by Digital Foundry when they previewed game’s engine, they mentioned The Dark Ages doesn’t have any of these forced mechanics which is cool.
Best Doom game of them all. Doom Eternal is nowhere near as good, not even close. I wonder how new Doom The Dark Ages will go, but it already looks better than Eternal because it has no stupid forced mechanics…
It’s basic metallurgy knowledge that cast aluminium is prone to fatigue cracks way faster than forged steel. In fact all cast metals tend to be more brittle.
Extruded aluminium you can often bend back and forth quite few times before it snaps. Cast aluminium will just start to crumble at the bend.
Actually, Cybercock is using cast aluminium frame which is nowhere near as strong as steel frame used in ALL other pickups.
Some RX 9070 series also use high power connector and so far there haven’t been any issues. Though they haven’t been around for as long as RTX 5000 series…
Thats so unlikely to happen the cable and connector would have to be really fucked up.
RTX 5070 is not pulling enough power to matter. Issue is with RTX 5090 that is so close to the power rating of the cable that every defenct in it can actually show up as failure.
They make everything using cast aluminium at Tesla. One of worst types of alloys where you expect durability as it’s terrible with metal fatigue. It tends to snap instead of bend.
Sounds like quality Made in USA car alright…
American cars were never hailed as pinnacle of quality. Not decades ago and not now.
