I’m thinking of auto-logging in on boot, and adding another startup command to Hyprland to lock the desktop and show the display manger.
I’m wondering if this is possible though for a transparent display manager background.

This has gotta be the best explanation of Emacs’ appeal I’ve seen yet, out of many.
On Hyprland I have all my windows float & stack by default. I use Hyprland since it can be easily customized with dotfiles.
