  • You would have to ask a doctor, don’t take medical advice from the internet.

From what I know it can irritate the skin and can lead to long term issues with the skin like dermatitis. It can also cause blood vessels to rupture under the skin, which is usually not a big issue and will heal. But it can cause some pain and leave a mark when healed and will only heal when it is given time to rest up, which can be hard if one is used to a lot of masturbation. If it isn’t allowed to heal, it can cause more problems. I’m sure there can be more issues, but I don’t know about those.

A lot of the risks of masturbation are myths or exaggerated a lot. Wanking once or twice a day is probably fine. And your body will let you know when you’ve overdone it.

And to add: Poor hygiene is a lot bigger risk than masturbation ever is. Keep your bottoms clean!

  • PORNHUB

It’s Pornhub, like https://pornhub.com/. One of the biggest (if not the biggest) porn site on the planet, used by millions if not billions. There is nothing wrong with watching porn if you feel like it. What you do in your own home is your own business. Just don’t wank too much, or you are going to have health issues. Which are also totally normal and you should just go talk to your doctor, they will not be surprised or shocked, it is literally their job to deal with stuff like that.

I feel the world is going crazy. Shoving all of this stuff under the carpet isn’t helping anyone and won’t make it go away. Half of the time I can’t understand my young niece and nephew because they speak in this code language, evolving all the time so they can talk about normal stuff young people talk about and stay ahead of the big censor machine. And often it’s censored so poorly, everyone can still read it, like what was the point then?

  • She did a follow-up on this on a recent Q&A with Adam Savage. She doesn’t use it at all, because her stump is too small. This means she has almost no leverage and strength in the stump. She said she likes the aesthetics but it’s not practical.

Imho she needs something with like a servo assist or something hydraulic. But that means stuff like a power supply, pump, sensor, controller, plumbing etc. It would get messy fast for something that’s on your hand. If it’s more of the hand it could make sense, but the loss of only the little finger probably has almost zero impact on the use of the hand.

  • Not below average dev necessarily, but when posting code examples on the internet people often try to get a point across. Like how do I solve X? Here is code that solves X perfectly, the rest of the code is total crap, ignore that and focus on the X part. Because it’s just an example, it doesn’t really matter. But when it’s used to train an LLM it’s all just code. It doesn’t know which parts are important and which aren’t.

And this becomes worse when small little bits of code are included in things like tutorials. That means it’s copy pasted all over the place, on forums, social media, stackoverflow etc. So it’s weighted way more heavily. And the part where the tutorial said: “Warning, this code is really bad and insecure, it’s just an example to show this one thing” gets lost in the shuffle.

Same thing when an often used pattern when using a framework gets replaced by new code where the framework does a little bit more so the same pattern isn’t needed anymore. The LLM will just continue with the old pattern, even though there’s often a good reason it got replaced (for example security issues). And if the new and old version aren’t compatible with each other, you are in for a world of hurt trying to use an LLM.

And now with AI slop flooding all of these places where they used to get their data, it just becomes worse and worse.

These are just some of the issues why using an LLM for coding is probably a really bad idea.

Hair is 100% genetic, products ain’t going to do shit about that. It’s all just a scam targeted at insecure men who want to achieve unrealistic body standards pushed by society. Just own the bald, or don’t, do what you want to do and fuck society.

  • Yeah it’s just a desktop wallpaper it seems. Big minus points for that. All the monitors also have the exact same wallpaper and the one on the side also cuts off.

The speakers don’t really fit and the monitor on the left is just bog standard and on a modern arm, as well as the camera (but I can understand the camera, that would be harder to mod into something).

I also don’t really like the way it’s done. Just random keycaps superglued all over it. Cheap diy ventcovers also superglued, not really straight. The little clock and mini-display are super cool though, but then the mini display is just another mirror of the main screen, that’s not great. The front is also kind of falling apart, which doesn’t look very nice. The stickers on the side are cool though.

So I don’t know what to think. The concept is great, but the execution really isn’t there. On the other hand, going this far for a daily driver is cool in it’s own right.

  • And then the troubleshooting steps are like reset the app, reset your account and if that doesn’t fix it reinstall Windows. If it still won’t work, buy a new computer.

It’s terrible, just give me the info I need to figure out the root cause. It’s probably very easy to fix. Instead of the ol’ nuke it from orbit approach.

And it’s not just on the side of consumers either. More and more people are using docker to run shit and just reset or reinstall whenever an issue pops up. Sure that’s often faster and it might work, but it won’t prevent the issue from returning and you won’t have learned anything. I learned the most from fixing broken shit. It requires you to figure out how it should work and what’s preventing it from working like that. We are making ourselves dumber this way.

  • Not the waterline

    From the official specs:

Wade Mode allows Cybertruck to enter and drive through bodies of water, such as rivers or creeks.

They say up to 31 inches, not sure that qualifies as a river, but sure whatever. The water in the picture doesn’t look like 31" where it’s at. Looks more like it sank in the mud and bottomed out. The Cybertruck has abysmal ground clearance as it’s designed to be as shit as possible in all circumstances.

  • Yes they actually made the case to a judge that “Full Self Driving” is a brand name and does in fact not imply Level 5 self driving as defined by SAE. People might expect Level 5 upon hearing the name, as Level 5 is called “Full driving automation” and has the car drive itself. Tesla is however only at Level 2 “Partial driving automation”. Most brands are level 2, with level 3 on the horizon and something like Waymo has level 4.

Most of those lawsuits never went anywhere because when you buy a Tesla you have to sign away the right to sue them. Which is smart given how much they lie to customers. There is still a class action suit in the works however.

It’s also a farce Elon Musk isn’t in jail for being a serial liar to investors and manipulating their stocks. People have been banned from holding such positions and put in jail for far less.

  • This is something you can buy today! Be sure to pay us a lot of money, you’d be insane not to. OK not today but next week! OK maybe not next week but this year for sure! Due to interference of the DISPICABLE LEFT it’s delayed till next year, but next year for sure. Just pay the $500 upfront to be sure to get some of the first batch!

And the stock market gobbles it up… Disgusting!
