I cannot really relate to hockey or Tim Hortons, but c’mon Shuster was only born in Canada.
Pornhub is a technical achievement, it has versions for visually impaired and acoustically impaired users, a section dedicated to data analysis and one to sexual education.
YouTube has often copied their advancement in the UX design, like the most replayed graph on the timeline.
They also enacted the Great Digital Purge which has been a first in history, and which scared other platforms as an example of the kind of responsibility that platforms would be asked to take for the content published.
Sounds like hell to me, not being able to settle your mind in one city is something I abhor in tourism. Bringing that to country level is just criminal.
As I stated in another comment, the reason for it being a possibly bad pizza has nothing to do with flavor, but “texture”.
I never tried hawaiian pizza, mostly because I hate soggy pizza. I guess it is not meant to be eaten on a Neapolitan style base, but then again, I am not interested.
I am from Rome, where we have a pizza that would be possible not to get soggy when putting pineapple on it, but it is a curse from God, rather than real pizza.
It is a strong white flour, it builds quite a strong glutinic net (I am translating from Italian here) and therefore keeps a good elasticity after rising, while being stretched and pulled.
I repeat: Canada is quite a big one, it has a developed economy and produces solid cultural products.
You can do tourism wrong (as Italian cities do), and do it right, like Amsterdam started to do now. I was there in April last year and I was able to take pictures of the canals with no one in them but me effortlessly. They literally paid ads to tell British low cost flight tourists not to come visit.
It’s called self-care.
I think it is not always produced in Manitoba, but it is the name of the kind of wheat flour that is best for pizza.
Not a Stargate one. I know a few sci-fi movie were shot in notable Canadian cities, such as Chronicle in Vancouver, but I never really recognized Canada in a sci-fi film, no.
I take the (you may call it Stoic) decision not to think about what I cannot affect. 23andMe is not a good company, it is tied to Google etc. and they are sloppy with security. I am not even trying to justify myself not taking my data away from there earlier, that is my fault, and I have been stupid and lazy.
That said, their Privacy Statement is quite clear about what should happen and none of the exception listed there apply, also because genetic data is anyway Art. 9 data.
I will act at the best of my possibilities and not concern myself more than needed with how bad of an actor anyone may be in the US (it is a bit overwhelming as an exercise, especially nowadays).
What I meant is that “this Privacy Statement will apply to your Personal Information as transferred to the new entity”, so by itself the sale of assets is not a reason to exclude any data from anything stated there.
I am deleting my account as soon as I get transferred all the data, but what happens when I request the deletion is still valid whether or not they sold the assets.
And genetic data of any kind is absolutely covered by GDPR: https://gdpr-info.eu/recitals/no-34/
A merger or liquidation is not a valid purpose to store personal, and especially Art. 9, data, as covered by the legal basis of legal obligations, according to GDPR. So, if you are in Europe, they would have to delete it.
That’s in line with being from Switzerland. Act cool, but be sure to stick with the richer people and do their interest. Never used Proton (I use Tuta instead) for that reason only. You are free to call me racist.
The author of the Superman comics. Joe Shuster.
