Hiding true ownership.
Fun fact, when hunting down the history of a major bank, I was able to trace its origins to a rural Baptist church in the 50s.
I can’t go into detail, but I work in a municipal jurisdiction with unique circumstances. It’s a bit of an enclave for the super-wealthy and sir to media/security concerns, I have to be a huge PITA about paperwork establishing who can access and work on properties.
There are fairly unassuming properties in town that will get you tackled or shot if you don’t follow the proper procedures.
Try tracking down ownership of the property a bank sits on.
It’s wild. They’ll buy it under an LLC they dissolve, and the ownership transfers to an heir LLC in another state that’s also dissolved, rinse and repeat for 40 steps.
When I ask for a bank building to show proof of ownership in a development application, they usually just cancel the project because it’ll take 8 months and 150 grand in lawyers’ fees just to prove they own their own fucking building, and a new ATM lane just isn’t worth it.
I dread calls at work more than anything in life.
Just send a fucking email.
I can root for hope both sides to strike killing blows.
Soon, you’ll need it to fly domestically.
They actually set this up pretty far in advance though. For instance, I’m from Texas, where any IDs issued since October 2016 are complaint. It’s impossible for me to have a current ID that’s non-compliant.
So from my perspective there won’t really have been any changes since 2001 in my flying experience.
Let the GOP force them to become a state. They’d get 2 senate seats and more electoral college votes and congressional seats than any other state. Just in time for the Dems to run on deannexing Canada.
That’s illegal under the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act.
Send them a certified letter. Inform them that they need to prove you caused the damage, repair or replace your device, or you’ll be taking them to arbitration.
They generally have to pay for the arbiter, so it’ll be cheaper to just replace your cheap phone even if they win.
I miss Sierra.
