hdd = hard disk drive (which is magnetic storage)
ssd = solid state drive (which isnt magnetic storage)

i also use a magnetized needle and a steady hand btw (thank god i use hdd and not ssd)

thats the exact same reason why i insist on doing things locally even if people nag me to use a webapp that does the same thing as the program. specifically, powerpoint/impress and canva (which is web-based). powerpoint if im on windows, impress if im on linux, and powerpoint has to be specifically the 2007 version.
thatd be if i used cp/m but i use ms-dos (well, also winxp and linux)
i got myopia, autism, very severe adhd (thats luckily mostly gone thanks to meds at least), eating disorders caused by a rare condition consisting of an anomalous way of swallowing (or something like that), a shitload of stress problems, high chances of getting schizophrenia if i ever come closer than 10 meters of anything made out of cannabis (with the only exception of the ropes), high chances of cancer due to some weird gene shit my dad has…i think the only good thing i got off my parents dna is that my bones are harder to break than average (which is very damn useful when you do medieval swordfighting at historical events (or at the local renfair))

best i can do involves a c64, cmd, a mips processor, fasttracker2, modarchive, a giant redstone cpu someone made in minecraft, a 2a03 chip, a monitor ripped off an amiga, a ti calculator, neocities, beepbox, a piano, the esolangs wiki, scratch, buncha irc chatlogs, too many .ttf files, a full mirror of xkcd, a termux install, a bunch of pico-8 cartridges i got off the lexaloffle bbs, nethack, a bunch of films i torrented off some p2p service, a telescope and conways game of life
yea relatabke this happens when thwy let me choosd the music, it always ends up at a weird mix of chiptune, power metal, classical, jazz, funk and “using only windows error sounds” among many other things you usually wouldnt find in the playlist such as floppotron videos or “megalovania but every instrument is a metal pipe”
