I feel that this should be the biggest issue in US national news. And although I do not consume much main stream news I have only ever seen blogs and small circulation articles on the issue. Like how can any one on either aide of the political divide be ok with shit?

The pervasiveness of AI (insinuating its lack of concern for higher privacy users) has seeped completely through to products we are choosing for their privacy focus is indicative of being fucked. We are also fucked for many reasons.

I would like to iterate a comment above that says they actively reduce using all types of services for this reason. The greatness of the internet is being squashed by the desire to protect both our personal information and resist corporate enshitification.

I’m not saying I’m gonna stop using DDG or that it is somehow the problem or is even bad. I’m just saying this OP from Google is seeping everywhere.

But seriously, Holy shit I just signed GOT INTO/OPENED UP/JUMPED on to DDG on PC after forever and had to opt out of a bunch of AI shit. We are so fucked.

This is interesting. I’m not sure what is ment by non libre software. I imagine something like FOSS or graphineOS. Which I use on a nothing phone. I currently use the Vanguard app. Not but two or three times a month. And my apptracker blocking is flooded dailey. Sometimes over 600 attempts for app tracking from Vanguard. At all hours.

Phone: settings: voice mail. Toggling visual voice mail pop ups a window that states google and your carrier may keep transcripts. However it is not currently working so I imagine I would have to call the carrier. And as it stats transcripts may be saved I figured not worth the effort.
