Yummy pre-digisted food?!
I was just thinking: If Sasha could just eat the billionaires I’m ok with not getting presents this year.
Do you have any data on that? This rando article says otherwise:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-54268160
And the examples given seem to mostly involve dogs which makes me kinda lean towards “It’s the human’s fault (cause they did not know how to control their dog(s))”

Yeah, just wanted to link that as well!

Im reasonable happy with Actual Budget. I like that it has desktop apps that can sync woth a server that was easy to set up, I can import various things via .csv, rules to automatically categorise stuff are nice. I dont care about the envelope budgeting or whatever it’s called they’re on about but it’s easy to ignore / turn off.
+1 for Bazzite. Have been using it for over a year, if an update borks sleep or something, I just boot tge other partition, wait a week or two. So good!

+1 for Bazzite (or another one from https://universal-blue.org/ ), very hard to destroy, if an update breaks something just choose old install during boot and wait a few weeks before trying again. I am kinda savvy but don’t really need (or can 😸) tinker with the system.
Where are you based? Maybe someone from https://endof10.org/ or another local hacker grouo could help you in person. There are regular install parties in my city.

.A friend of mine said they misspelled it as SHIT phone in their own newsletter once. It is kinda an unfortunate name (not as bad as /e/ but you just can’t top that).

Don’t shame them for their guilty pleasure, lizard creature!

Maybe rebase* to
https://docs.getaurora.dev/dx/aurora-dx-intro/
before nuking and going a classic Linux distro like others have suggested?
(Personally I’m not sure if I could go back to non-atomic, having the option to just boot the old image if after an update sleep mode is borked or something is just too good.)

Yeah, I thought one of the main reasons to use distrobox and the likes is for dev work having cleanly seperated environments.

Now do a clock version of the weird American date format, mm/dd/yyyy? Maybe it has to be digital?
mm:ss:hh? But obviously dont use 24h
Esp for 2FA getting notifications from phone to desktop (with KDE Connect in my case) is almost useless since most of the 2FA services seem to tag the SMS with a “sensitive” tag or something, because for the last few month I’ve been getting the notification all right but it’s not showing me the 2FA.

Wtf is that Claude logo? Holy.

+1 for Bazzite, it’s working perfectly with Nvidia for me. Only have one monitor, so don’t know about multi-monitor setup (might be a desktop environment thing, as well?)

I was thinking of Mirlo and Funkwhale but there are even more here:
https://forum.wedistribute.org/topic/16/current-fediverse-resources-for-musicians
Castopod might be cool, it’s mainly for podcasts but might work for you as well?

While your on it don’t cut your grass for more of that.

But how will all the people making their rounds twice a day in parks with leafblowers at this time of year earn their living, then? Doing something meaningful? I don’t think so!
You’ve tried that KDE tiling addon / app and it’s not for you, I guess?
