Wow! Did you get into early access and try the game? You are so lucky!! 😂

I’m not in the UK either though.

Well, just a game I’m not gonna buy then. Simple.

That’s difficult, because the 540TB is spread out a cross many PeerTube instances. Every instance uses different method to store the video. Some use local drives, some use S3 or another form of cloud storage.
My instance is hosted locally on 2x4TB hard drives, which cost me about €100.
Federation on PeerTube can be pretty restrictive depending on the instance you register on. You should check out this link: https://lemmy.wtf/post/15816115

It federates with all listed here: https://instances.joinpeertube.org/instances, which is most instances.

Right now there’s 538 TB of video, but that’s actually “only” from the instances on this list: https://instances.joinpeertube.org/instances/
You can see more stats here: https://instances.joinpeertube.org/instances/stats

Mostly just not having enough time and then it can be hard to justify buying it at full price.

Tempted to buy Cyberpunk…

When posting or saying something in public, there’s no way to retract it.
There’s no difference from posting something on “the Fediverse” or Reddit. Just because you delete your post, does not guarantee that it’s gone. Reddit most likely keep a copy of it anyway and there’s sites that save everything that’s posted on Reddit. so the “issue” is not exclusive to Lemmy.
What you want to aim for is anonymity.

The instance is only a few hours old, maybe less. No one else than the admin has registered so far. It will probably stay that way lol

“Best of the worst”.
You can sell your game on Steam, in addition to other platforms as well.
