Well, he is right on the mark in the first part: go vote and talk to two friends.
Go vote, damn it! You don’t like how things are going, do something about!
European guy, weird by default.
You dislike what I say, great. Makes the world a more interesting of a place. But try to disagree with me beyond a downvote. Argue your point. Let’s see if we can reach a consensus between our positions.

Well, death is the guaranteed thing.
There was a world before that and that painting is part of it.
That’s a nice painting. Anyone knows the author?
I sometimes float the idea in my brain to learn how to code. If I ever come to it, I want to debate and discuss my work with another human. Not a machine.
Personal preference.
I won’t hold my breath on it.
Up until this minute, AI has produced plentiful examples of how it can produce anything but good code.
I’d rather have a developer writing software, slowly, because they have an intelectual itch and want to try and see the outcome of their idea than the proverbial army of monkeys furiously typing away.
I love my country but the last craze I heard from a national chain of supermarkets was having a prepaid card, that by pre-paying €100 or more you get an added 10%. Nah. But people love it.
You’d be amazed. A local supermarket tried to set up a loyalty scheme where you would automatically round up to next unit and hold that extra on the customers account as a credit balance for next purchase. People loved it. Until it went bust with money they never returned.
Nice. By excess or default? Because by excess, seems like you actively pay more.
I can’t really recall the exact costs but I know every single coin we mint is more expensive than the value it carries.
Assuming Canada would switch to the Euro, yes. You’re referring to Canada also doing something to “block” the scummy x.99 prices, hence eliminating the 0,01 coin, right?
The denominations are fixed: 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1 and 2 for coins, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 for bills (although I’ve read the 200 and 500 had ceased production).
Every country can mint coins with bespoke faces, even limites editions, for commemorations and special events. Spain uses the Sagrada Familia for their lower denomination coins and the king’s image for higher, Greece reproduced an ancient dracma in their 1€ coin, Italy as used the Vitruvian Man, France has the Republic in their coins, etc. Enough room for each country to express their roots and values.
Better management, storage and, in my personal opinion, dessalination are the best way to ensure water is always available.
The man was a legend, while only fighting for the right to go back home and live a simple life.
If the US decide to move, the best tactic to counter them as already been demonstrated and proven: guerrilla warfare.
Invaded have the home and mindset advantage.
If it works, good. That is what matters. Just remember to clean it every once in a while. I’ve seen fully dust and lint clogged heatsinks before.
To my knowledge, PSUs are rated up to a declared power output but unless you have hardware that requires all of its power, the PSU doesn’t put out the full charge.
If was to become part of the diet of one, he’d change his views very quickly.
