  • the article I read about him said that he left his job to raise his children fulltime while his wife worked. then goes on to say his children are well into their post-secodary degrees so he’s been renovating his house and talking everyone’s ear off about how great it is because of its greenness. One of the things he’d like to do as MP is help other people renovate their houses the same way he did.

Losing to Carney, a serious member of the financial class is one thing. But losing to full time parent of 2 adults, who loves eco-friendly home renos is another thing. It’s interesting that neither men has held a conventional job in 20 years. Not to mention the dynamics (esp gender) of one of them having spent the time being a homemaker and the other being a brainwrecker.

  • I paused in the middle of reading your post trying to imagine what kinds of tiny tasks are at all encumbered by federal regulations… it’s certainly not part of my life. But was thinking maybe if you deal with import/export somehow or something… Or you run a pirate radio station.

But of course it’s about guns. No other hobby attracts whiners at such a rate.

The idea of pulling the red carpet out from under you is a very funny metaphor mixup because it suggests the red carpet was initially rolled out, which is a way of saying you were given special privileged royal treatment. But now you are forced to stand on the normal street like some sort of pedestrian and get treated like other people. booo hoo

  • It is very typical to have layers of benefits where they are applied in a certain order. One is exhausted then the next one kicks in. Everything else works this way including other public benefits.

Do you see any indication that there is a planned fix for this? I do not. But please show me because if it was planned I would at least have hope.

And my idea of opting out (if that is even permitted by my employer’s plan) would not work because if it was available but you declined, you’re also not qualified. So my employer would have to stop dental benefits for everyone. Which would of course negatively impact the high-earners who don’t qualify. So it’ll never happen. The poorest people in my company will have to suffer.

Maybe I can get them to lay me off without pay for a month so I can get all my outstanding dental work done.

  • If tomorrow

tomorrow in 24 hours things won’t be perfect…

Meanwhile Israel exists since 1948 and still NO gay marriage NO secular marriage in fact

The truth is we don’t know what the nation of Palestine would do because it has been subject to genocide for decades. Everything that you say is puuuure conspiracism.

this too is mostly due to religious influences

    wrongzo. Political

what Muslim country welcomes queer people with open arms?

what theocratic country welcomes queer people with open arms?

Israel, a theocratic country, certainly does fucking not.
