Still love AO, best skill/ability implementation I have seen to date along with character gearing. But yeah they just fucked it up over time.

Quite enjoyed The Secret World beta and even ordered based on my beta experience and that went to shit pretty quick unfortunately. Never bothered with anything from them since, but I will play the Project Rubika from guys who are reverse engineering AO

Edit: I was also hoping they may reignite my love of AO with doing some similar stuff in Dune, but the gameplay I’ve seen so far is really garbage. I’m playing a Chinese survival game which is free to play with (currently) no pay to win monetization, lotsa bugs aaand I’d still rather continue playing that over what I saw from this Dune game

My partner had hers done before me the first time around, and I thought she was bullshiting me when she mentioned the cost or that she just didn’t read it correctly, the same way you did, so can’t blame you.

Metro Vancouver, we get plenty of things more expensive here, don’t ask me why, other than why not… (But some cheaper occasionally)

Edit: I should mention, they’re obviously fleecing the insurance company because they cover 2 cleanings a year, with no other limitations. I would never pay that shit.

Also some provinces claim to have been trying to make it easier for healthcare professionals, unfortunately I don’t know enough about it to tell whether there is any genuine truth to it or not, since politicians just get to state anything and not follow through or be accountable.

I vaguely recall this in relation to BC/NDP but don’t know if they made actual progress, anybody know more?

Cost of dental care in Canada is ridiculous (don’t know about US probably even worse there). One of the issues is that the dentists and hygienists are allowed to charge whatever the fuck they want. $400+ cleaning? Lol fuck that shit…a dentist in UK did cleaning for me within the cost of check-up so I wouldn’t have to go hygienist unless it was absolutely necessary, not just because “oh well you have insurance, let’s milk it dry and give insurance companies more reasons to deny claims and shit”. And that’s not even talking about everything else.

Imagine if they could one day get the whole EU to agree on something like this…and to even use the software! 😵
