As much as I would like that to be true, the UCP got 52% of the vote last election. So even under MMP they would have got a majority government.

Even if the solution did work, now you have a doohicky full of microplastics. You can’t throw it out because that puts you at square one. Are we shoving it in the walls like razor blades in the 70s and hoping for a solution in the future?
None of that unquestionable behaviour was their President literally stating that we should be annexed, however.

Yeah, literally 44.05 percent of people went for the NDP.
44 is about the percentage of the people who voted NDP last election. It shouldn’t be that surprising.

A Better Calgary Party is the third and possibly final party to register (March 2025), describing itself as a centre-right party of “common sense conservatives.” The party has said it wants to “unite the right,”
So are you a centre-right party or do you want to unite the right? Can’t be both.
According to a comment above that may not be a given in the states.
Software is something I think we’re sleeping on. Any Windows machine, Android, iOS, should be considered compromised due to them being developed by American companies. The solutions to this currently are either effectively or quite literally non-existent.
TBF the fact that it would be Canadian would set it apart from other electric vehicles. And other vehicles in general, really.
The NDP got to form government due to vote splitting, and should the UCP split vote splitting would hand them the election again so I wouldn’t be that surprised.
